100 meters south of the Gadhimai temple, on the west side of Bariyarpur village, there is a temple dedicated to Jolahi Mai. The villagers worship Jolahi Mai, believing she is the protector of their village. They trust that Jolahi Mai shields them from evil and safeguards their crops. Because of this strong belief, the villagers worship her daily, especially before starting any farming activities. The presence of the Jolahi Mai temple is integral to the community, symbolizing protection and prosperity. Villagers often visit the temple to seek blessings for their fields and personal safety. This daily worship reflects their deep faith in Jolahi Mai’s power to keep them safe and ensure bountiful harvests. The temple, though small, plays a significant role in the lives of the villagers, being a constant source of spiritual support and reassurance.
