Donations at Gadhimai Temple

At Gadhimai Temple, devotees have the opportunity to offer donations as a gesture of devotion and support for the temple's operation and development. Any devotee, regardless of the amount, is welcome to contribute according to their wishes, with donations starting from any amount. However, for those who donate more than NPR 25,000, their names will be honored and inscribed on the temple’s Silalekh (stone plaque), immortalizing their contribution as a lasting symbol of their devotion to Goddess Gadhimai.

The donation process is simple—devotees need to visit the office of the Shree Gadhimai Temple Operation and Development Committee to formalize their donation and receive a receipt for the contribution. The funds collected through these donations play a crucial role in maintaining the temple's day-to-day operations and in supporting long-term projects for its overall development.

From temple renovations to organizing major religious events, the contributions from devotees help in preserving the temple’s legacy and ensuring it remains a spiritual center for generations to come. This system not only provides financial support but also strengthens the bond between the devotees and the temple, allowing them to directly contribute to the preservation of a site that holds deep cultural and religious significance.
