111-Member Management Committee Formed for World-Famous Gadhimai Mela

A 111-member management committee has been formed under the leadership of Mayor Upendra Yadav of Mahagadhimai Municipality to oversee the world-renowned Gadhimai Mela, which takes place every five years. This committee will be responsible for managing, organizing, and coordinating the grand event. Upendra Prasad Yadav has been appointed as the president of the committee, with Manoj Kumar Gupta, Ramchandra Prasad Sah, Rambabu Prasad Yadav, and Kailash Mahato serving as vice-presidents. The general secretaries include Birendra Prasad Yadav, Naresh Prasad Jaiswal, and Upendra Prasad Gupta. Umravati Devi Laherin and Nitu Kumari Gupta have been appointed as secretaries, while Virendra Prasad Chaurasiya will serve as the treasurer. Representatives from various political parties such as Nepali Congress, UML, Maoist, and others have also been included as committee members.
