Gadhimai Five year Fair Procession Concludes Successfully with Over 50,000 Devotees

With the support of Mahagadhimai Municipality, the grand procession of the Gadhimai Panchavarshik Mela was successfully completed in a grand and dignified manner this year. More than 50,000 devotees participated in the procession, further emphasizing the religious significance of the Gadhimai fair. The highlights of the procession included glimpses of the sacred Gadhimai Temple and various religious and cultural activities, which drew the attention of thousands of devotees. Special preparations were made at the fair site for the convenience and management of the devotees. The procession saw the use of more than 100 buses, over 200 cars, and more than 500 motorcycles, ensuring smooth access to the Gadhimai Temple. Upendra Prasad Yadav, the mayor of Mahagadhimai Municipality, expressed his gratitude to the security personnel, journalists, organizations, and stakeholders who played a significant role in the successful organization of the event. He said, "Your active participation and dedication played a major role in making this procession grand and peaceful. On behalf of Mahagadhimai Municipality, I thank everyone." The Gadhimai Mela is renowned for its religious importance and cultural heritage, and this year's procession successfully stood as a symbol of its unique significance.
